This tutorial was created on October 6, 2010 and is the property of It's Me Again Tuts by Bonnie.  Please do not remove my tutorials from my website to add to another site unless you have permission from me to do so.  This tutorial was created using Psp version 9, but I see no reason why it cannot be created using all versions of Psp.  This tutorial assumes that you have a working knowledge of Psp.

Okay, let's start on our tag!

1.  Open your supplies in Psp and minimize all but the Element_49 to your Psp workspace.  Shift+D to make a duplicate of the Element_49; close out the original tube so that you will have it for future use.  Image/Resize.  Resize the element by 50% one time and by 75% one time.  Image/Canvas Size.  Change the canvas size of the element to 750w x 850h.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the element using the settings shown below.

Vertical 5; Horizontal 0; Opacity 60; Blur 5; Color Black

                                              

2.  Restore the Element_24 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the element by 50% two times and 75% one time.  Position the element on the door as shown in header tag.  Apply  a drop shadow effect to the element.  Restore the tube that you will be using for your tag.  Position your tube as shown in the header tag.  Apply a drop shadow effect to your tube changing the blur to 10.

3.  Restore the Element_04 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the element by 50% three times and 85% one time.  Position the element on the top left corner of the doors.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the element.  Restore the Element_21 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the element by 50% two times and 65% one time.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the element.  Position the element on the bottom right corner of the doors.

4.  Restore the Element_20 - draw a selection around the brown leaf and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the brown leaf by 50% three times and by 85% one time.  Position the leaf on the bottom left corner of the door.  Layers/New Raster Layer.  Flood fill the new layer with the color #FFFFFF.  Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom.  Activate the Selection Tool (rectangle, feather 0) and draw a selection around the window parts of the door (see screen shot below).  Restore the scenery tube that you will be using for your tag - Edit/Copy/ back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Selections/Invert.  Hit the delete key on your keyboard.  Selections/Select None.  The scenery tube should be on top of the white background and under the door layer.  Lower the opacity of the scenery tube layer to 68.

5.  Hide (X out) the white background layer.  Activate one of the other layers on your layer palette and go to Layers/Merge/Merge Visible.  Remove the X from your white background layer.  Activate the merged layer of your tag and resize by 95%.  Move the merged part of the tag over a little to the right side of your canvas.  Activate the white background layer of your tag.  Restore the Autumn_WordArt05 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag layer and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the WordArt05 by 50% one time and by 75% one time.  Move the word art towards the left side of the canvas (see header tag).  Lower the opacity of the word art layer to 32.  NOTE:  You may need to use the Raster Deform tool to manipulate the word art to get it like you want it to look. 

6.  Set your foreground color to #EF936C.  Activate the white background layer and go to Layers/New Raster Layer.  Flood fill the new layer with your foreground color.  Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image.  Select the gemsmask60 from the drop box under the Source window.  Source luminance is checked; Invert mask data is not checked.  Layers/Merge/Merge Group.  Resize the mask by 95% and move it over a little towards the right side of the tag (see header tag).

7.  Add your text, watermark or copyright info to your tag.  Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten).  Crop away any excess white space that may be around your tag.  Resize your tag if needed and save in desired format.
