Okay, let's get started on our tag!

1.  Open your supplies in Psp and minimize all but the PP2 to your Psp workspace.  Shift+D to make a duplicate of the paper; close out the original paper.  Layers/Promote Background Layer.  Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image.  Select the 3mask2009_by Paci from the drop box under the Source window.  Source luminance and Invert mask data are both checked.  Layers/Merge/Merge Group.

2.  Change the width of the mask canvas to 850w and the height to 875h.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the masked paper using the settings shown below.

Vertical 2; Horizontal 0; Opacity 60; Blur 5; Color Black

3.  Restore the Clock; Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the clock by 65% one time and by 75% one time.  Position the clock at the top left corner of the mask.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the clock.  Restore the Double Frame - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the double frame by 50%.  Position the double frame next to the clock (see header tag).

4.  Restore the tube that you will be using for your tag - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  If you are using the same tube that I am using in the tutorial, go to Image/Mirror.  Resize your tube if needed; I resized my tube by 75%.  Position the tube at the bottom part of the mask.  Change the blend mode of the tube layer to Soft Light.  Restore the HeartStrings - Activate the Selection Tool (rectangle, feather 0) and draw a selection around the double hearts; Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the hearts by 50% one time and by 75% one time.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the hearts.  Position the hearts on the top left corner of the left frame.

5.  Restore the Keys - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the keys by 50%.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the keys.  Drag the keys layer under the hearts layer and position it so that it looks like it is hanging from the corner of the larger heart (see header tag).  Restore the Bus - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the bus by 55%.  Position the bus on the bottom left corner of the mask.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the bus.  Restore the Trunk - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the trunk by 50% two times and by 85% one time.  Position the trunk next to the bus (see header tag).  Apply a drop shadow effect to the trunk.

6.  Restore the FlowerPins - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the flowers by 50% one time and by 65% one time.  Position the flowers at the right bottom side of the mask (see header tag).  Erase the parts of the stem that are on top of your tube, so that it looks like the flowers are behind your tube.  Change the blend mode of the flowers layer to Luminance (legacy).  Activate the Double Frame layer.  Using the Freehand Selection Tool (point to point, feather 0), draw a selection around the inside part of the left top frame where your tube will go.  Restore your tube and go to Edit/Copy; position the tube over the frame selection (you may need to resize your tube). Selections/Invert.  Hit the delete key on your keyboard.  Drag the tube layer below the frame layer.  Follow the same steps for the right frame.  Apply a drop shadow to the frames.

7.  Restore the PansyVine - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the vine by 75% one time and by 90% one time.  Position the vine on the top part of the mask (see header tag).  Apply a drop shadow effect to the vine.  Restore the LeatherBow by 50% two times and 90% one time.  Position the bow on the top right corner of the right frame.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the bow.

8.  Layers/New Raster Layer.  Flood fill this layer with the color #FFFFFF.  Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom.  Layers/New Raster Layer.  Flood fill this layer with the color #D1AB67.  Apply the mask that you are going to use for your background.  Layers/Merge/Merge Group.  X out (hide) the white background layer.  Merge visible the tag and the mask background.  Resize the merged tag/mask layer by 90%.  Remove the X from the white background. The next part is optional.  If you do not want to do the optional part, just add your text and any copyright info to your tag.   Merge all layers and crop any excess white space away from around your tag..

OPTIONAL STEP:

Remove the X from the white background layer.  Activate the merged tag/mask layer and go to Effects/Plugin Filters/Nik Software/Color Efex Pro 3.0 using the Colorize effect, or any effect of your choice.  Add your text and any copyright info that is needed to your tag.  Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten).

Crop away any excess white space that is around your tag.  Resize your tag if needed and save in desired format.
