This tutorial was created using Psp vs 9 but I see no reason why it cannot be created using other versions of Psp. This tutorial assumes that you have a working knowledge of Psp.

Okay, let's get started on our tag! 1. Open your supplies in Psp and minimize to your Psp workspace for now. Create a new image 800w x 800h white background. Layers/New Raster Layer. Flood fill with the color #000000. Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image. Select the BeckyMask042 from the drop box under the Source window. Source luminance is checked; Invert Mask Data is not checked. Layers/Merge/Merge Group. Lower the opacity of the mask layer to 50%. Resize the mask layer by 85%.
2. Restore the Doodle05 element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow using the settings shown below. Vertical 2; Horizontal 1; Opacity 68; Blur 4; Color Black
3. Restore the tube that you will be using on your tag - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Position your tube as shown in header tag. Apply a drop shadow effect to your tube using the same settings as used in Step 2 EXCEPT change the blur to 8. Image/Canvas Size. Change the canvas size to 850w x 850h. Click on the center arrow in the middle row of arrows under Placement.
4. Restore the WordArt element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the word art by 50% one (1) time and by 95% one (1) time. Position the word art on top of the doodle as shown in the screen shot below. Apply a drop shadow effect to the word art using the same settings as used in Step 2. Using the Selection tool or the Freehand Selection tool, draw a selection around the dots that are part of the doodle that is located under the word art. Hit the delete key on your keyboard. Selections/Select None.
5. Restore the Heart06 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the heart by 50% two (2) times. Position the heart on the top curvy part of the doodle (see header tag). Apply a drop shadow effect using the same settings as used in Step 2. Restore the JournalBook - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the book by 50% one (1) time and by 70% one (1) time. Activate the Selection tool (Rectangle, Feather 0) and draw a selection around the right page of the journal. Restore the male graphic that you are going to use for the journal and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Position the graphic over the selection (you may need to resize your graphic) and go to Selections/Invert. Hit the delete key on your keyboard. Selections/Select None. Layers/Merge/Merge Down. Add some brush effects or text to the left page of the journal. Layers/Merge/Merge Down. Rotate the journal by 15 degrees to the right. Apply a drop shadow effect using the same settings as used in Step 2.
6. Position the journal at the bottom right of your tag (see header tag). Restore the OldKey element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the key by 50% three (3) times. Rotate the key by 15 degrees to the left. Apply a drop shadow effect to the key using the same settings as used in Step 2. Position the key at the top left corner of the journal. Restore the Pen01 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the pen by 50% two (2) times and by 75% one (1) time. Apply a drop shadow effect to the pen using the same settings as used in Step 2. Rotate the pen to 65 degrees to the right. Position the pen on your journal (see header tag). 7. Restore the Doodle02 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the doodle by 50% three (3) times. Position at the bottom right corner of the journal. Apply a drop shadow effect using the same settings as used in Step 2. Restore the Bird02 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the bird by 50% two (2) times and by 75% one (1) time. Image/Mirror. Position the bird on the heart at the left side of your tag. Apply a drop shadow effect to the bird using the same settings as Step 2. Restore the Bow01 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the bow by 50%. Position the bow on top of the letter L (see header tag). Apply a drop shadow effect to the bow using the same settings as used in Step 2. 8. Restore the Heart02 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the bow by 50% two (2) times and by 75% one (1) time. Apply a drop shadow effect to the heart using the same settings as used in Step 2. Position the heart next to the letter E (see header tag). Add your name or watermark to your tag. For my name, I used the Paper01 for the text fill and the color #000000 for the text stroke. 9. Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). Crop away any excess white space that is around your tag. Resize your tag if needed, and save in desired format.
