This tutorial was created using Psp vs. 8 but i see no reason why it cannot be created using other versions of Psp.

The tube that I am using is by the wonderful artist IceMan Flaming and is used with permission through a wonderful group that I am in, The Zone Groups .

Okay, let's get started on our tag! 1. Open your supplies in Psp and minimize to your Psp workspace for now. Restore the paper17 and go to SHIFT+D to make a copy of the paper. Close out the original paper for future use, we will be using the duplicated paper. With the duplicated paper being the active image, go to Layer Promote Background Layer. Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image. Select the 118LT mask from the drop box under the Source window. Source luminance is checked. Layers/Merge/Merge Group.
2. Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow using the settings shown below. Vertical 2; Horizontal 0; Opacity 75; Blur 5; Color Black
3. Image/Canvas Size. Change the width and the height of your canvas to 900. We will resize it later. Click on the center arrow under Placement.
4. Restore the tube that you will be using for your tag and go to Edit/copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Resize your tube if needed. Position your tube on the tag as shown in header tag and apply a drop shadow effect using the same settings as used in Step 2 EXCEPT change the blur to 10. 5. Restore the lovepin02 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the lovepin02 by 50%. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Position the pin as shown in header tag or place as desired. Apply a drop shadow effect to the pin using the same settings as used in Step 2 EXCEPT change the blur to 3. 6. Restore the deko03 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the deko03 by 75%. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Position the deko03 on the top left corner of the tag template (see header tag). Apply the same drop shadow settings to the deko03 as used in Step 2. Restore the button03 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the button03 by 50% one (1) time and by 75% one (1) time. Resize all layers is not checked; bicubic resize type is used. Position the button on top of the dek003 that you placed on the top left corner of the tag template. Apply a drop shadow effect to the button using the same settings as used in Step 5. 7. Restore the bowdou03 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Resize the bow by 50% two (2) times and by 85% one (1) time. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Image/Mirror. Position the bow on the top right corner of the tag template (see header tag). Apply a drop shadow effect to the bow using the same settings as used in Step 2. 8. Layers/Merge/Merge Visible. Image/Resize. Resize the merged tag layer by 85%. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Layers/New Raster Layer. Flood fill this layer with the color #FFFFFF. Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom. Layers/New Raster Layer. Flood fill this layer with the color 8A5E5F. This layer will be on top of the white background layer. Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image. Select the valentinesthree mask from the drop box under the Source window. Source luminance is checked. Layers/Merge/Merge Group. Image/Resize. Resize the mask layer by 95%. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used.
9. Restore the paper1 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the paper1 by 80%. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Image/Rotate/Free Rotate. Rotate the paper1 by 20 degrees to the left. Apply a drop shadow effect to the paper1 using the same settings as used in Step 2.
10. Restore the paper6 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the paper6 by 80%. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Image/Rotate/Free Rotate. Rotate the paper6 by 20 degrees to the right. Apply a drop shadow effect to the paper6 using the same settings as used in Step 2. Restore the ribbon08 element and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the ribbon to desired size and position on the right corner of the dark colored paper (see header tag). Apply a drop shadow effect to the paper using the same settings as used in Step2. 11. You can add more elements to your tag if desired. This kit has lots of great elements you can used. Add your name to your tag, along with your watermark or any copyright that needs to be added to your tag. Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). Crop away any excess white space that is around your tag. Resize your tag if needed, and save in desired format.
