This tutorial was created on July 8, 2010 and is the property of It's Me Again Tuts by Bonnie.  Please do not remove my tutorials from my site to add to another site unless you have permission from me to do so.  This tutorial was created using Psp vs 9.  This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of Psp.

Okay, let's get started on our tag.

1.  Open your supplies in Psp and minimize all but the Template 6 to your Psp workspace.  Shift+D to make a duplicate of the template.  Close out the original template so that you will have it for future use.  Delete the info layer and the copyright layer of the template.  Image/Canvas Size.  Change the width of the template to 750w and the height to 700h.  Activate the white background layer of the template and flood fill it with the color white (#FFFFFF).

2.  Activate Layer 1 of the template and go to Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat.  Restore the Paper12 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Selections/Invert.  Hit the delete key on  your keyboard.  Selections/Select None.  Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow using the settings shown below.

Vertical 2; Horizontal 1; Opacity 50; Blur 4; Color Black

3.  Activate Layer 2 of the template and follow the same steps as used for Layer 1 EXCEPT change the paper to Paper4.  Activate Layer 3 of the template and follow the same steps as used for Layer 1 EXCEPT change the paper to Paper1.  Activate Layer 4 of the template and follow the same steps as used for Layer 1 EXCEPT change the paper to Paper2.  NOTE:  Resize the Paper2 by 50% so that the stripes will be smaller for the smaller parts of the template.  Activate Layer 5 of the template and follow the same steps as used for Layer 4.

4.  Activate Layer 6 of the template following the same steps as used for all other layers EXCEPT change the paper to Paper9.  Activate Layer 7 of the template and follow the same steps as used for all other layers EXCEPT change to the Paper8.  Activate Layer 8 of the template following the same steps as used for Layer 6 of the template. Activate Layer 9 of the template following the same steps as used for Layer 7 of the template.

5.  Activate Layer 10 of the template following the same steps as used for all other layers EXCEPT change the paper to Paper8.  Activate Layer 11 of the template following the same steps as used for all other layers EXCEPT change the paper to Paper12.  Activate Layer 12 of the template following the same steps as used for all other layers EXCEPT change the paper to Paper3.

6.  Activate Layer 13 of the template following the same steps as used for all other layers EXCEPT change the paper to Paper2 (resize the Paper2 by 50%).  Activate the Layer 14 of the template and follow the same steps as used for Layer 13 EXCEPT change the paper to Paper 5.  Apply a drop shadow effect using the same settings as used in Step 2.  Activate Layer 15 of the template following the same steps as used for Layer 13 EXCEPT change the paper to Paper5.  Activate Layer 16 of the template following the same steps as used for Layer 14 EXCEPT change the paper to Paper2 (resize Paper2 by 50%).  Apply a drop shadow effect using the same settings as used in Step 2.

7.  Restore the Leaves element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer.  Image/Rotate/Free Rotate.  Rotate the Leaves element by 8 degrees to the left.  Apply a drop shadow effect using the same settings as used in Step 2.  Resize the Leaves element by 85%.  Position the leaves on the left side of the tag as shown in screen shot below.

8.  Restore the tube that you will be using for your tag - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize your tube if needed.  Apply a drop shadow effect to your tube using the same settings as used in Step 2 EXCEPT change the blur to 10.  Position your tube as desired or as shown in header tag.  Restore the WordTag6 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the tag by 65% and apply a drop shadow effect using the same settings as used in Step 2.  Image/Rotate/Free Rotate.  Rotate the word tag by 8 degrees to the right.  Position the word tag at the bottom left side of your tag (see header tag).

9.  Restore the Bow2 element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the bow by 85%.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the bow using the same settings as used in Step 2.  Position the bow at the  top part of the square (see header tag).  Restore the HeartTags element and activate the merged layer or layer of choice.  Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the heart tag by 50% one (1) time and by 75% one (1) time.  Position the tag on the square part of the template as shown in header tag.  Drag the heart tag layer under the bow layer.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the heart tag using the same settings as Step 2. 

10.  Restore the RibbonHeart element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the ribbon heart by 65% two (2) times.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the ribbon heart using the same settings as used in Step 2.  Position the heart at the bottom left side of your tag as shown in header tag.  Activate the white background layer.  Restore the Paper4 -Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image.  Select the DBV Mask 107 from the drop box under the Source window.  Source luminance is checked; invert mask data is NOT checked.  Layers/Merge/Merge Group.  Resize the mask layer by 90%.  Lower the opacity of the mask layer to about 32.

11.  Layers/Merge/Merge Visible.  Add your name or some text to your tag.  Apply any copyright info that is needed on your tag.  Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten).  Crop away any excess white space that is around your tag.  Resize your tag if needed and save in desired format.
