This tutorial was created using Psp vs 8, but I see no reason why it cannot be created using other versions of Psp. This tutorial assumes that you have a working knowledge of Psp.

Okay, let's get started on our tag! 1. Open your supplies in Psp and minimize all but the Template3 to your Psp workspace. Shift+D to make a duplicate of the template; close out the original template. Image/Canvas Size. Change the canvas width to 800w and the canvas height to 800h. Activate the Trama 1 layer of the template and flood fill with the color #FFFFFF. 2. Activate the Trama 7 layer of the template. Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Restore the Papera - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the paper by 75%; resize all layers is NOT checked. Position the paper over the selection and go to Selections/Invert. Hit the delete key on your keyboard. Selections/Select None. Follow the same directions listed in Step 2 for the remaining layers of the template EXCEPT change the papers as shown below. Trama 6 layer - Paper C Trama 9 layer - Paper D Trama 8 layer - Paper B Trama 3 layer - Paper A Trama 2 layer - Paper C (Image/Rotate/Rotate Clockwise 90) Trama 5 layer - Flood fill with the color #8E332C Trama 10 layer - Delete Trama 4 layer - Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Flood fill the selection with the color #E6C469. Do NOT deselect. Effects/Texture Effects/Blinds using the settings shown below. Do NOT deselect. Width 2; Opacity 35; Color #8E332C; Light from left/top
3. Right click on the background/fill color. Set the color to #E6C469. Check the texture box on the top right side and select the Shrubs texture (angle 0, scale 100). Activate the Flood fill tool and click one time in the selected oval. Selections/Select None.
4. Apply a drop shadow effect to your template layers using the settings shown below. vertical 2; horizontal 1; opacity 55; blur 6; color black
5. Restore the FE7 Element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the element by 50% one time and by 75% one time. Apply a drop shadow effect to the element. Position the element on the left side of the template (see header tag). Restore the FE6 element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the element by 85%. Position the element on the top part of the oval layer of the template (see header tag). Apply a drop shadow effect to the element. 6. Restore the FE5 element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the element by 50%. Apply a drop shadow effect to the element. Position the element on the left top corner of the top rectangle (see header tag). Restore the FE1 element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the element by 65% one time and by 75% one time. Apply a drop shadow effect to the element. Position the element on the top right corner of the bottom rectangle. 7. Restore the FE11 element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the element by 65%. Apply a drop shadow effect to the element. Position the element on the top right corner of the bottom rectangle; position the element over the string part of the Christmas ball. Restore the FE2 element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the element by 65%. Apply a drop shadow effect to the element. Position the element at the top of the oval layer of the template. Drag this layer under the butterfly layer. 8. Restore the FE9 element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the element by 50% one time and by 85% one time. Apply a drop shadow to the element. Write some text on the element if desired. Position the element on the top right corner of the middle rectangle. Restore the FE24 element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the element by 50% one time and by 90% one time. Position the element on the right side of the fireplace. Apply a drop shadow effect to the element. Layers/Duplicate. Image/Mirror. The duplicated element should be on the left side of the fireplace. 9. Restore the Word Art - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the word art as needed, and place in desired position on the oval shape of the template (see my header tag for how I positioned my text). Restore the FE3 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Position the under or around the word art. Restore the tube that you will be using for your tag - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize your tube if needed; position on your tag as shown in header tag. Apply a drop shadow effect to the tube changing the blur to 10. 10. Activate the white background layer and go to Layers/New Raster Layer. Flood fill this layer with the color #8E332C. I used the Shrub texture with my color; that is optional. Apply whatever mask you will be using for your background. Layers/Merge/Merge Group. Apply your text to your tag and any needed copyright info. Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). Crop away any excess white space that may be around your tag. Resize your tag as needed and save in desired format.
