This tutorial was created on November 10, 2011 and is the sole property of It's Me Again Tuts by Bonnie.  Please do not remove my tutorials from my website to add to another website unless you have permission from me to do so.  This tutorial was created using   Psp vs. 8, but I see no reason why it cannot be created using other versions of Psp.  This tutorial requires a working knowledge         of Psp.

Okay, let's get started on our tag!

1.  Open your supplies in Psp and minimize all but the SteamPunk1 template to your Psp workspace.  Delete the copyright layer of the template.  Image/Canvas Size.  Change the width of the template image to 750w and the height of the template image 700h.  Activate the background layer of the template and flood fill with the color #FFFFFF.

2.  Activate the BackShape layer of the template; Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat.  Restore the Background4 - Edit/Copy; back to the template and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Selections/Invert.  Hit the delete key on your keyboard.  Selections/Select None.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the background using the settings shown below.

Vertical 2; Horizontal 0; Opacity 55; Blur 6; Color Black

3.  Follow the same steps listed in Step 2 for the remaining layers of the template EXCEPT change the backgrounds as shown below.

4.  Restore the TMRTGS element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the element by 50% two times.  Position the element over the bottom left gear.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the element.  Layers/Duplicate.  Image/Mirror.  Restore the T12ktqjl element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the element by 50% four times.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the element.  Using the header tag as a guide, position the element on the top stickout part of the left large gear.  Duplicate the element two more times and position on the left bottom large gear. Duplicate the element three more times and position on the right large gear (see header tag).

5.  Restore the Tll element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the element by 50% two times and by 75% one time.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the element.  Position the element in the center of the brown board that is on the bottom left large gear (see header tag).  Layers/Duplicate.  Image/Mirror.  Restore the tube that you will be using for your tag.  Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize your tube if needed.  Apply a drop shadow effect to your tube.  Position the tube as shown in header tag.

6.  Restore the TKKJKH element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the element by 50% two times and by 65% one time.  Position the vase at the left bottom side of the template (see header tag).  Apply a drop shadow effect to the vase.  Layers/Duplicate.  Image/Mirror.  Restore the Hrt element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Past As New Layer.  Resize the heart by 50% two times and by 75% one time.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the winged heart.  Position the heart on the left rectangle (see header tag).  Use the Deform Tool to turn the winged heart element to the left a little.

7.  Restore the CLKfajkl element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the clock by 50% two times and by 65% one time.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the clock.  Position the clock on the top left corner of the right rectangle.  Restore the TspbgH71aqy element; Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the butterfly by 50% three times.  Rotate the butterfly by 20 degrees to the left.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the butterfly.  Position the butterfly at the top right side of the tag (see header tag).  Layers/Duplicate.  Resize the duplicated butterfly by 85% .  Image/Mirror.  Position as shown on the header tag right below and a little to the right of the first butterfly.

8.  Activate the white background layer of the template.  Layers/New Raster Layer.  Flood fill the new layer with the color #9C6548.  Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image.  Select the Vix_BigMask018 from the drop box under the Source window.  Layers/Merge/Merge Group.  Source luminance is checked.  Add your name or text on your tag and position as desire.  Apply any needed copyright info to your tag.  Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten).  Crop away any excess white space that may be around your tag.  Resize your tag if needed and save in desired format.
