Scrap Kit by SkyScraps Designs; Tube by Sandra Charlet

This tutorial was created using Psp vs. 8, but I see no reason why it cannot be created using other versions of Psp. A Big Thank You to Sandra Charlet for allowing the use of her lovely art work. Okay, let's get started on our tag!
1. Create a new image (File/New) 800w x700h white background. Set your foreground/stroke color to #000000. Null out the background/fill color (circle with the line through it). Activate the Text Tool and select the AEZ Sweethearts font using the settings below. Size 425; Create As Vector; Stroke width 2; Anti-alias 2. Type the lower case letter "g" in the text entry box and hit Apply. Layers/Convert to Raster Layer. Activate the Magic Wand Tool (Add/Shift; Tolerance 0; Feather 0) and click inside each of the X's and O's to select. Restore the pp11 paper and go to Edit/Copy; back to the selected font and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Selections/Invert. Hit the delete key on your keyboard. Selections/Select None. Layers/Merge/Merge Down. Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow using the settings shown below. Vertical 2; Horizontal 0; Opacity 75; Blur 3; Color Black
3. Move the X's and O's shape to the left side of your canvas for now. Restore the Emo_Frame5 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Rotate/Free Rotate by 90 degrees to the right. Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen. Apply a drop shadow effect to the frame using the same settings as used in Step 2. Drag the X's and O's shape layer above the frame layer. Position the X's and O's on top of the left side of the frame (see header tag).
4. Activate the frame layer once again. Using the Magic Wand Tool, click inside the center of the frame to select. Selections/Modify Expand by 4 pixels. Layers/New Raster Layer. Drag this under under the frame layer. Flood fill the new layer selection with the color #5FD7E9. Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image. Select the SkyScraps_MaskEmo2 from the drop box under the Source window. Source luminance and Invert mask data is checked.
5. Layers/Merge/Merge Group. Selections/Select None. Lower the opacity of the mask layer to 50%. Restore the Emo_Flower8 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the flower by 65% one time and by 85% one time. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Position the flower tube on top of the X's and O's tube as shown in screen shot below. Apply a drop shadow effect using the same settings as used in Step 2 EXCEPT change the blur to 5.
6. Layers/Duplicate. Position the duplicated flower on the Bottom O of the X's and O's shape (see header tag). Restore the tube that you will be using for your tag and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Position your tube as shown in header tag; apply a drop shadow effect to the tube using the same settings as used in Step 2 EXCEPT change the blur to 8. 7. Restore the Emo_Basket2 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize one (1) time by 50% and one (1) time by 75%. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Apply a drop shadow effect using the same settings as used in Step 6. Position the Basket2 at the right bottom corner of the frame (see header tag). 8. Change the background/fill color to Pattern and select the pp8 paper Angle0 Scale 50. Null out the foreground/stroke color. Write out the words "I'm an Emo Girl!" and place it on the mask background inside of the frame. Add a drop shadow effect to your text using the same settings as used in Step 2. I used the font Jester for my text.
9. Restore the E14 (lips) and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the lips by 50% one(1) time and by 75% one (1) time. All layers are not checked; bicubic resize type is used. Position the lips above the Emo girl text. Apply a drop shadow effect to the lips using the same settings as used in Step 6. 10. Change the background pattern to the pp11 paper using the same settings as used in Step 8. Activate the Preset Shape Tool and select one of your star shapes. I'm using the Star2 shape Anti-alias; Create As Vector. Draw out your star and then go to Layers/Convert to Raster Layer. Position the star where desired and apply the same drop shadow effect as used in Step 2. Duplicate the star (Layers/Duplicate) and resize by 85%. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Add as many stars to your tag as desired using different patterns and resizing to different sizes. 11. Add your name to your tag. I used the font RingBearer Medium and the pp8 for my text fill; the outline for my text was Black (#000000) Stroke 1. Add your copyright or watermark to your tag and go to Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). Crop away any excess white space from around your tag. Resize if needed, and save in desired format.
