This tutorial was created December 11, 2011 and is the property of It's Me Again by Bonnie.  Please do not remove my tutorials from my website to add to another website unless you have permission from me to do so.  This tutorial was created using Psp vs 8, but I see no reason why it cannot be created using other versions of Psp.  This tutorial assumes that you have a working knowledge of Psp.

Thank you Ditz for feeding my obsession with Steam Punk and Gothic scrap kits.  Had fun with this one :)

Okay, let's get started on our tag!

1.  Open your supplies in Psp and minimize all but the Aghklg element (clock) to your Psp workspace.  Shift+D to make a duplicate of the element; close out the original element.  Image/Canvas Size.  Change the width of the canvas to 950w and the height of the canvas to 950h.  Resize the element by 75%; resize all layers is NOT checked.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the element using the settings shown below.

Vertical 5; Horizontal 0; Opacity 55; Blur 6; Color Black

2.  Restore the tube that you will be using for your tag - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize your tube as needed.  Position your tube on the right side of the clock element (see header tag).  Apply a drop shadow effect to your tube changing the blur to 10.  Restore the AAKBC element (tree) - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the tree by 50% one time and by 75% one time.  Position the tree on the left side of the clock (see header tag).  Apply a drop shadow effect to the tree.

3.  Restore the SantaSkull - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the skull by 50% two times and by 75% one time.  Position the skull at the bottom of the clock next to your tube (see header tag).  Apply a drop shadow effect to the skull.  Restore the AAACDAGBH element (red Christmas ball) - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the element by 50% two times.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the element.  Position the element behind the santa skull next to the tree.

4.  Restore the AAAANGBH element (red Christmas ball with eyes) - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the ball by 50% two times.  Rotate the ball by15 degrees to the left.  Adjust/Hue and Saturation/Colorize using the colors shown below.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the ball.  Position the ball below the skull layers next to the tree (see header tag).

Hue 195; Saturation 75

5.  Layers/Merge/Merge Visible.  Resize your tag by 75%; resize all layers is NOT checked.  Using the Mover Tool, move your tag towards the bottom of the canvas a little so that you will have space at the top for the moon and the sleigh.  Restore the KQY element (moon) - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the moon by 50% two times and by 85% one time.  Rotate the moon by 35 degrees to the right.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the moon.  Position the moon at the top left corner of your tag.

6.  Restore the AKLJGLGH element (santa and sleigh) - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the sleigh by 65%.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the sleigh.  Position the sleigh at the top of your tag.  Use the header tag as an example for the position.  Layers/Merge/Merge Visible.  Layers/New Raster Layer.  Flood fill the layer with the color #FFFFFF.  Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom.  Layers/New Raster Layer.  Flood fill this layer with the color #6D4A86.  Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image.  Select the mask that you will be using from the drop box under the Source window.  Layers/Merge/Merge Group.

7.  Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten).  If you want to add a foggy effect like my tag, use the Render/Clouds effect in Filters Unlimited.  I set the clouds layer to Hard Light and lowered the opacity to 78.  You can also play around with setting the blend mode to screen and lowering the opacity.

8.  Add your text and any needed copyright info to your tag.  Layers/Merge/Merge All.  Crop away any excess white space that may be around your tag.  Resize your tag if needed, and save in desired format.
