GRUNGED LOVE

This tutorial was created on January 21, 2012 and is the property of It' Me Again Tuts by Bonnie. These tutorials were created by me and are not to be add to another website unless you have permission from me to do so. This tutorial was created using Psp vs 8, but I see no reason why it cannot be created using other versions of Psp. This tutorial assumes that you have a working knowledge of Psp.

Okay, let's get started on our tag!

1. Open your supplies in Psp and minimize all but the ditz_svggmfr (black frame) to your Psp workspace. Shift+D to make a duplicate of the frame; close out the original frame. Resize the frame by 50%; all layers are checked; bicubic resize type is used. Image/Rotate/Rotate Counter-clockwise 90. Image/Canvas Size. Change the canvas width to 700w and the height of the canvas to 940h. Apply a drop shadow effect to the frame using the settings shown below.

Vertical 2; Horizontal 1; Opacity 55; Blur 6; Color Black

2. Layers/New Raster Layer. Flood fill this layer with the color #FFFFFF. Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom. Restore the tube that you will be using for your tag - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Layers/Arrange/Bring to Top. Position your tube inside the frame; resize your tube if needed. Apply a drop shadow effect to the tube changing the blur to 8. Restore the ditz_ggbdr (red bow) - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the bow by 65%; resize all layers is NOT checked. Position the bow on the top right corner of the frame. Apply a drop shadow effect to the bow.

3. Restore the ditz_Tand4 (hanging heart) - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the heart by 50% one time and 65% one time. Position the heart on the top left corner of the frame. Apply a drop shadow effect to the heart. Restore the ditz_mgvkm - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the element by 50% two times and 75% one time. Position the element on the right side of the frame. Apply a drop shadow effect to the element.

4. Restore the ditz_TswrElgg - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the element by 50% one time and by 65% one time. Position the element on the top part of the frame. Drag this layer beneath the hanging heart element (which should be layer 4). Apply a drop shadow effect to the element changing the blur to 3. Restore the ditz_TswRrlgg - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the element by 50% two times. Position the element on the bottom right corner of the frame. Apply a drop shadow effect to the element.

5. Restore the ditz_jfakljlgw (flower bouquet) - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the flowers by 50% one time and by 85% one time. Position the flowers on the left bottom corner of the frame. Apply a drop shadow effect to the flowers. Restore the ditz_gjkang element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the element by 50% two times. Position the element on top of the flowers that are on the bottom left corner of the frame (see header tag). Apply a drop shadow effect to the element.

6. Restore the ditz_mgvplant (plant with heart and leaves) - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the plant by 50% two times and 90% one time. Position the plant on the left side of the frame. Drag this layer under the bouquet layer that is on the bottom left corner of the frame. Apply a drop shadow effect to the plant. Restore the ditz_harktl (black heart) - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the heart by 50% three times. Rotate the heart by 20 degrees to the right. Apply a drop shadow effect to the heart. Layers/Duplicate. Duplicate the heart two times. Resize the first heart by 85%. Resize the second heart by 80%. Activate the first heart and go to Image/Mirror. Position the hearts as desired or as shown in header tag.

7. Type out the words "Grunged Love" using the Paper_kleth for the text fill and the color #000000 for the text stroke; font type is Bloodgutter 99 size 36. Apply a drop shadow effect to the text. Position the text between the hearts as shown in the header tag. Activate the white background layer. Layers/New Raster Layer. Flood fill this layer with the color #7B0C1F. Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image. Select the GemsMask226 from the drop box under the Source window. Source luminance is checked. Layers/Merge/Merge Group.

8. Add your name and any copyright info needed to your tag. Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). Crop away any excess white space that may be surrounding your tag. Resize your tag if needed and save in desired format.
