This tutorial was created using Psp vs 8 but I see no reason why it cannot be created using other versions of Psp.

~ Okay, let's start on our tag ~

1. Open your supplies in Psp and minimize all but the template 331 to your Psp workspace. Shift+D to make a copy of the template; close out the original template so that you will have it for future use. Image/Canvas Size. Change the width of the template to 800w and the height to 750h. Click on the center arrow on the middle row under Placement. Delete the background and copyright layers of the template. Layers/New Raster Layer. Flood fill this layer with the color #FFFFFF. Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom.

2. Activate the Glittered Rectangle1 Left layer of the template. Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Restore the paper12 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the template image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection. Selections/Select None. Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow using the settings shown below. Activate the Glittered Rectangle2 Right and follow the same steps as used for the Rectangle1 left.

Vertical (-2); Horizontal 0; Opacity 74; Blur 5; Color Black

3. Activate the Glittered Rectangle2 left and go to Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Restore the paper16 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the template image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection. Selections/Select None. Activate the Glittered Rectangle2 Right (white rectangle) and follow the same steps as used for the Rectangle2 left.

4. Activate the Rectangle Left layer of the template and go to Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Restore the paper1 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the template image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection. Selections/Select None. Activate the Rectangle Right layer of the template and follow the same steps as used for the Rectangle Left.

5. Activate the Glittered Rectangle Center layer of the template and go to Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Restore the paper16 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the template image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection. Selections/Select None. Activate the Rectangle Center layer of the template and go to Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Restore the paper2 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the template image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection. Selections/Select None.

6. Activate the Glittered Circle left layer of the template and go to Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Restore the paper16 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the template image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection. Selections/Select None. Activate the Glittered Circle right layer and follow the same steps as used for the Glittered Circle left.

7. Activate the Circle right layer of the template and go to Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Restore the paper12 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the template image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection. Repeat these same steps for the Circle left layer of the template.

8. Activate the Frame Bkg layer of the template and go to Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Restore the paper1 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the template image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection. Selections/Select None. Activate the Frame layer of the template and follow the same steps as used for the Frame Bkg layer EXCEPT use the paper16. (NOTE: For the Dotted Frame layer, I just let it black and applied a drop shadow effect to it). Restore the tube that you will be using for your tag and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Apply a drop shadow effect to your tube using the same settings as used in Step 2 EXCEPT change the blur to 10. Position your tube as shown in header tag.

9. Restore the Ribbon 4 element and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the ribbon by 50% for a total of three (3) times and by 95% one (1) time. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Position the ribbon on the left circle as shown in the screen shot below. Apply a drop shadow effect to the ribbon using the same settings as used in Step 2. Layers/Duplicate. Image/Mirror.

10. Restore the Skull 4 element and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the skull element by 50% for a total of three (3) times. Position the skull at the bottom right corner of the frame (see header tag). Apply the same drop shadow effect as used in Step 2. Restore the Heart 5 element and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the heart element by 50% for a total of two (2) times. Apply a drop shadow effect to the heart using the same settings as used in Step 2. Position the heart on the left top corner of the template (see header tag).

11. Restore the Deviltail element and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the deviltail by 50% two (2) times. Position the deviltail element on the left circle as shown in header tag. Apply the same drop shadow effect as used in Step 2 EXCEPT change the vertical setting to 2. Drag this layer under the heart element layer. Type out the words "Lil Devil" using the color #B49BD4 as your fill color and #5C4281 as the stroke color. I used the font Perdition for my text. Apply a drop shadow effect to your text. Position the text on the left circle below the devil's tail element (see header tag).

12. Restore the Angelheart 2 element and go to Edit/Paste; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the angelheart element by 50% for a total of two (2) times and by 65% one (1) time. Position the angelheart on the right circle as shown in header tag. Apply a drop shadow effect to the heart using the same settings as used in Step 11. Write out the words "Naughty Angel" and position under the angelheart element (see header tag). Apply a drop shadow of choice to the text.

13. Restore the Button 2 element and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the button by 50% two (2) times and by 65% two (2) times. Position the button on the top right corner of the template (see header tag). Apply a drop shadow effect using the same settings as used in Step 2. Layers/Duplicate. Image/Flip. You may have to use the Move tool to position the button exactly on the bottom right corner of the template. Layers/Duplicate. Image/Mirror.

14. Activate the white background layer of the template. Layers/New Raster Layer. Flood fill this layer with the color #5C4281. Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image. Select the Becky_Mask0022 from the drop box under the Source window. Source luminance is checked. Layers/Merge/Merge Group. Image/Resize. Resize the mask layer by 90%. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Lower the opacity of the mask layer to about 60.

15. Add your name and any copyright info to your tag. Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). Crop away any excess white space around your tag. Resize your tag if needed, and save in desired format.
