Love Me Always

This tutorial was created on February 12, 2011 and is the property of It's Me Again Tuts by Bonnie. Please do not remove my tutorials from my website to add to another site unless you have permission from me to do so. This tutorial was created using Psp vs. 9, but I see no reason why it cannot be created using other versions of Psp. This tutorial assumes that you have a working knowledge of Psp.

Tube and font of choice

1. Open your supplies in Psp and minimize all but the Love Me Template to your Psp workspace. Shift+D to make a duplicate of the template. Close out the original template so that you will have it for future use. Image/Canvas Size. Change the width of the canvas to 750w and the height of the canvas to 700h. Activate the Raster 1 layer of the template and flood fill the layer with the color #FFFFFF.

2. Activate the Raster 9 layer of the template - Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Restore the Paper14 - Edit/Copy; back to the template and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Selections/Invert. Hit the delete key on your keyboard. Selections/Select None. Activate the Copy of Raster 9 layer of the template and follow the same steps as used for the Raster 9 layer. Apply a drop shadow effect to both the Raster 9 layer and the Copy of Raster 9 layer using the settings shown below.

Vertical 2; Horizontal 0; Opacity 58; Blur 5; Color Black

3. Follow the same steps as used in Step 2 for the following layers EXCEPT change the paper to the ones listed below.

Raster 6 layer - Paper 14

Raster 5 layer - Paper 4

Raster 3 layer - Paper 8

Copy of Raster 3 layer - Paper 6

Raster 8 - No Paper; Set layer to Soft Light

Merged layer - Flood fill with color #A3525A; change the blend mode to Multiply

Raster 7 layer - Paper 20

Raster 4 layer - Paper 9

Raster 2 layer - Paper 20

Copy of Raster 2 layer - Paper 20

Copy (3) of Raster 2 layer - Paper 8

Copy (4) of Raster 2 layer - Paper 8; change blend mode of Paper to Color (L)

Raster 11 layer - Paper 20

Raster 10 layer - Paper 4

Raster 12 layer - Paper 4; change blend mode of Paper to Difference

Delete Raster layer 13

4. Restore the tube that you will be using for your tag - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize your tube if needed. Apply a drop shadow effect to your tube changing the blur to 10. Position the tube as shown in header tag. Restore the Bow - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the bow by 50% two times and by 90% one time. Apply a drop shadow effect to the bow. Position the bow on the bottom corner of the rectangle on the left side of the tag (see header tag).

5. Restore the Flowers4 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Rotate the flowers by 90 degrees to the left. Resize the flowers by 60%. Position the flowers on the right hand side of the rectangle with the words love written on it (see header tag). Apply a drop shadow effect to the flowers. Restore the RosePetals - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Position the petals at the bottom of your tag (see header tag). Apply a drop shadow effect to the petals.

6. Restore the Chest - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the chest by 50% one time and by 65% one time. Apply a drop shadow effect to the chest. Position the chest at the bottom right corner of your tag. Restore the SheetMusic - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the sheet music by 50% one time and by 85% one time. Rotate the sheet music by 10 degrees to the right. Apply a drop shadow effect to the sheet music. Drag the music sheet under the chest and position as shown in header tag.

7. Restore the TeddyBears - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the bears by 50% one time and by 65% one time. Position the bears on top of the chest (see header tag). Apply a drop shadow effect to the bears. Restore the LoveKey - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Erase the string parts of the ribbon that are sticking out from the key. Do not erase the knot part of the ribbon that is one the key. Apply a drop shadow effect to the key. Position the key on the doodle that is on the right hand side of the tag (see header tag).

8. Restore the Pillow - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Image/Mirror. Resize the pillow by 50% one time and by 65% one time. Apply a drop shadow effect to the pillow. Position the pillow behind the bears (see header tag). Activate the top round light pink layer of the template. Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Restore the Beads - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Position the beads over the top round light pink layer. Selections/Invert. Hit the delete key on your keyboard. Selections/Select None.

9. Activate the white background layer. Layers/New Raster Layer. Flood fill the new layer with the color #E6BEBE. Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image. Select the chas3mask from the drop box under the Source window. Source luminance is checked. Invert mask data is not checked. Layers/Merge/Merge Group.

10. Restore the WordArt - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the word art by 50%. Position the word art above the top of your tag. Apply a drop shadow effect to the word art. Add your name and any copyright info that is needed to your tag. Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). Crop away any excess white space that may be around your tag. Resize your tag if needed, and save in desired format.
