This tutorial was created on December 20, 2011 and is the property of It's Me Again by Bonnie.  Please do not remove this or any of my tutorials to add to another website unless you have permission from me to do so.  This tutorial was created using Psp vs. 8, but I see no reason why it cannot be created using other versions of Psp.  This tutorial assumes that you have a working knowledge of Psp.

Okay, let's get started on our tag!

1.  Open your supplies in Psp and minimize all but the  DBMFR1 to your Psp workspace.  Shift+D to  make a duplicate of the frame; close out the original frame.  Resize the frame by 55%; resize all layers is checked; bicubic resize type is used.  Image/Canvas Size.  Change the width of the canvas to 800w and the height of the canvas to 950h. 

2.  Adjust/Brightness and Contrast/Clarify with a strength of 5. 

3.  Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat.  Restore the BBB1 paper - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Selections/Invert.  Hit the delete key on your keyboard.  Selections/Select None.  Change the blend mode of the paper layer to Color (Legacy).  Layers/Merge/Merge Down.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the frame using the settings shown below.

Vertical 2; Horizontal 0; Opacity 60; Blur 6; Color Black

4.  Restore the DBMTG2 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the star and circle element by 80%; resize all layers is NOT checked.  Once it has been resize, the star and circle element should be positioned in the center of the frame.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the element.  Restore the JUIGHH (key) - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the key by 65%.  Rotate the key by 20 degrees to the right.  Position the key on the top left corner of the frame.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the key.

5.  Restore the DBMBW2A (light blue bow) - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the bow by 50% one time and by 85% one time.  Position the bow on the top right corner of the frame.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the bow.  Restore the DBAM9A (dark blue flower on stem) - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the flower by 50% two times and 75% one time.  Position the flower on the right side of the frame (see header tag).  Apply a drop shadow effect to the frame.

6.  Restore the DBMLNS_87 (star divider) - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the divider by 50%.  Position the divider on the top part of the frame (see header tag).  Erase the parts of the divider that overlap the bow and the key.  Apply a drop shadow to the divider.  Restore the IUIGH2H element - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the element by 50% two times and 90% one time.  Position the element on the bottom right corner of the frame.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the element.  Layers/Duplicate.  Image/Mirror.

7.  Restore the DBMTG1 (blue tag) - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the tag by 50% one time and by 75% one time.  Position the tag at bottom center part of the frame (see header tag).  Apply a drop shadow effect to the tag.  Restore the tube that you will be using for your tag - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize your tube if needed and position as shown in header tag.  Apply a drop shadow to your tube changing the blur to 10.

8.  Restore the DBMSTRS2 (star) - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the star by 50% two times.  Position the star inside the frame at the top left corner (see header tag).  Drag this layer under the frame layer.  Apply a drop shadow to the star.  Layers/Merge/Merge Visible.  Layers/New Raster Layer.  Flood fill the layer with the color #FFFFFF.  Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom.  Activate the merged tag layer and resize by 90%; resize all layers is NOT checked.  Move the tag up towards the top of the canvas some so that you will have enough room for your text.  With the white layer being the active layer, restore paper BBB1 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image.  Select the mask that you will be using from the drop box under the Source window.  Source luminance is checked.  Layers/Merge/Merge Group.

9.  Add your text and any necessary copyright info to your tag.  I used the font WarLord and the paper BBB1 for my text fill with a dark blue used for the text outline.  Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten).  Crop away any excess white space that may be around your tag.  Resize your tag if needed and save in desired format.
