This tutorial was created on January 25, 2011 and is the property of It's Me Again Tuts by Bonnie.  This tutorial was created using Psp vs 9, but I see no reason why it cannot be created using other versions of Psp.  This tutorial assumes that you have a working knowledge of Psp.

Okay, let's get started on our tag!

1.  Open your supplies in Psp and minimize all but the Temp26 to your Psp workspace.  With the template being the active image, go to Image/Canvas Size and change the width of the template to 800w and the height of the template to 850h.  Delete the copyright layer from the template.

2.  Activate the Copy of Raster7 layer of the template and go to Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat.  Restore the Paper10 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Selections/Invert.  Hit the delete key on the keyboard.  Selections/Select None.  Activate the Raster8 layer of the template; follow the same directions as used for the Copy Of Raster7 EXCEPT change the paper to Paper05.  Activate the Raster9 layer of the template and follow the same steps as used before EXCEPT change the paper to Paper10.

3.  Activate the Raster7 layer of the template and follow the same steps as used in Step 2 EXCEPT change the paper to Paper04.  Activate the Raster10 layer of the template and follow the same steps as used in Step 2 EXCEPT  change the paper to Paper05.  Activate the Raster11 layer of the template and follow the same steps as listed in Step 2 EXCEPT change the paper to Paper04.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the Copy of Raster7 layer and the Raster7 layer of the template using the settings shown below.

Vertical 2; Horizontal 0; Opacity 55; Blur 5; Color Black

4.  Activate the Raster6 layer of the template and follow the same steps as used in Step 2 EXCEPT change the paper to Paper12.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the Paper12.  Activate the Raster12 layer of the template and follow the same steps as used for the Raster6 layer EXCEPT change the paper to Paper05.  Activate the Raster5 layer of the template and follow the same steps as used above EXCEPT change the paper to Paper06. 

5.  Activate the Raster4 layer of the template and follow the same steps as listed in Step 4 EXCEPT change the paper to Paper08.  Activate the Raster1 layer of the template and follow the same steps as used in Step 4 EXCEPT change the paper to Paper05 (rotate the Paper05 90 degrees clockwise before you copy and paste as new layer).  Activate the  Raster3 layer of the template and follow the same steps as used above EXCEPT change the paper to Paper10.

6.  Activate the Raster2 layer of the template and follow the same steps as used above EXCEPT change the paper to Paper08.  Restore the Bow05 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the bow by 50% two times and by 75% one time.  Position the bow under the letter p (Punks).  Apply a drop shadow effect to the bow.  Restore the Flower08 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the flower by 50% three times and by 75% one time.  Position the flower at the right side of the tag next to the word punks. 

7.  Restore the Skull01 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the skull by 50% two times and by 65% one time.  Image/Mirror.  Position the skull between the lower part of the two frames.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the skull.  Restore the Tag02 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the tag by 50% two time and by 65% one time.  Rotate the tag by 25 degrees to the left.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the tag.  Drag this layer below the skull layer and position as shown in header tag.  Restore the Cellphone - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the phone by 50% one time and by 60% one time.  Rotate the cell phone by 25 degrees to the left.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the cell phone.  Position the cell phone at the bottom left side of the tag (see header tag).

8.  Restore the Diary - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the diary by 50% two times and by 75% one time.  Rotate the diary by 25 degrees to the right.  Apply a drop shadow to the diary.  Position the diary next to the cell phone.  Drag this layer under the cell phone layer and position as shown in header tag.  Restore the  Lipstick - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the lipstick by 50% two times and 65% one time.  Add a drop shadow to the lipstick.  Position the lipstick on the bottom right corner of the diary (see header tag).

9.  Restore the TennisShoe - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the shoe by 50% two times and 75% one time.  Rotate the shoe by 25 degrees to the left.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the shoe.  Position the shoe on the bottom left corner of the diary.  Restore the CurlRibbon01 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the ribbon by 50% one time and by 75% one time.  Rotate the ribbon by 10 degrees to the left.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the ribbon.  Position the ribbon on the left side of the pink rectangle (see header tag).  Restore the Bow06 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the bow by 50% two times and by 75% one time.  Position the bow on the top left corner of the pink rectangle (the bow will be on top of the curl ribbon).  Apply a drop shadow effect to the bow.

10.  Restore the BeadChain - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Rotate the chain by 100 degrees to the right.  Resize the chain by 50% one time.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the chain.  Activate the Raster9 layer (top green rectangle layer); position the chain on the top left corner of the rectangle.  The bead layer should be beneath the skull and tag layers.  Restore the Bow02 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the bow by 50% two times and by 75% one time.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the bow.  Position the bow on the top left corner of the green rectangle over the beaded chain.  Restore the Clock - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the clock by 50% one time and 75% one time.  Position the clock in the pink rectangle as shown in header tag.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the clock.

11.  Restore the Lollipop02 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the lollipop by 50% two times and 65% one time.  Rotate the lollipop by 20 degrees to the right.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the lollipop.  Position above the letter m in the word Pimpin.  Restore the Lollipop01 and follow the same steps as used for the Lollipop2 EXCEPT rotate the lollipop 20 degrees to the left.  Restore the BeadSpills - Activate the Selection tool (rectangle, feather 0) and draw a selection around one of the smaller beads.  Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the small bead by 50%.  Position the bead on top of the candy sticks (see header tag).  Apply a drop shadow effect to the small bead.  Restore the main tube that you will be using for your tag.  Resize the tube if needed.  Position the tube on the right side of the tag in front of the green rectangle.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the tube.

12.  Select two of the butterflies and resize them to desired size.  Add a drop shadow effect to the butterflies.  Position the butterflies on your tag as desired.  Remove the X from the background layer of the template.  Make the background layer the active layer.  Restore the Paper08 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image.  Select the Becky_Mask042 or mask of choice from the drop box under the Source window.  Source luminance is checked; Invert mask data is NOT checked.  Layers/Merge/Merge Group.  Resize the mask by 85%.  Lower the opacity of the mask to 60.

13.  For my name I used the font Chachie.  I used the Paper05 for the text fill and Paper08 for the text stroke.  Add your name to your tag, apply a drop shadow effect, and position as desired.  Add any copyright info that is needed to your tag.  Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten).  Crop away any excess white space that may be around your tag.  Resize your tag if needed, and save in desired format.
