This tutorial was created using Psp version 9, but I see no reason why it cannot be created using other versions of Psp. This tutorial assumes that you have a working knowledge of Psp.

~ FOR THIS TUTORIAL YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING: Paint Shop Pro (trial version) NyteMarez PTU Scrap Kit here Gems Mask118 here Font of Choice Okay, let's get started on our tag! 1. Open your supplies in Psp and minimize to your Psp workspace for now. Create a new image 950w x 850h white background. Restore the Haunted House - Edit/Copy; back to the new image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Apply a drop shadow effect to the haunted house using the settings shown below. Vertical 3; Horizontal 0; Opacity 55; Blur 6; Color Black
2. Restore the Spooky Tree - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Image/Mirror. Resize the tree by 90%. Position the tree on the right side of the haunted house. Drag the tree layer beneath the haunted house layer. Apply a drop shadow effect to the tree. Restore the Zombie - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the zombie by 75% two times and 90% one time. Image/Mirror. Position the zombie in front of the left side of the house (see header tag). Apply a drop shadow effect to the zombie. 3. Restore the Gate3 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Position the gate in front of the zombie so that it will look like he is trying to get out of the gate. Apply a drop shadow effect to the gate. Restore the Dead Grass - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the grass by 50% one time and 75% one time. Position the grass in font of the gate pillar (see header tag). Apply a drop shadow effect to the grass changing the blur to 3. Layers/Duplicate. Image/Mirror. 4. Restore the Skull - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the skull by 50% two times and 80% one time. Apply a drop shadow effect to the skull. Position the skull in front of the dead grass on the left side of the gate. Restore the Spider and Web - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize by 50% one time and by 90% one time. Position the spider and web on the lower part of the right door to the gate (see header). Apply a drop shadow effect to the spider and web. 5. Restore the Skeleton - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the skeleton by 75% one time and by 85% one time. Position the skeleton in front of the gate pillar on the right side of the tag. Apply a drop shadow effect to the skeleton. Restore the Bat - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the bat by 50% one time and by 90% one time. Apply a drop shadow effect to the bat. Position the bat above the house on the left side of the tag (see header tag). 6. Restore the WordArt - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the word art by 65% one time and 80% one time. Apply a drop shadow effect to the word art. Position the word art over the top of the house (see header tag). Restore the Shovel - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the shovel by 55% one time. Apply a drop shadow effect to the shovel. image/Rotate/Free Rotate. Rotate the shovel by 10 degrees to the right. Drag the shovel layer under the gate layer and position the shovel as shown in header tag.
7. Restore the GraveStone5 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the grave stone by 50% one time. Apply a drop shadow effect to the grave stone. Position the grave stone a little bit behind the left pillar of the gate (see header tag). Activate the Dry Grass layer- Layers/Duplicate. Using the Move Tool, move the duplicated grass layer and position it on the bottom part of the grave stone. Restore the Fog - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Position the fog over the right side of the house (roof) and part of the top of the tree that is next to the house. Layers/Duplicate. Image/Mirror. Position the duplicated fog layer as shown on header tag. 8. Restore the GraveStone4 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the grave stone by 50% one time and 75% one time. Position the grave stone next to the skeleton on the right side of the tag. Apply a drop shadow effect to the grave stone. Activate the tree layer. See where the tree roots stick out under the skeleton's arm? Draw a selection around the roots and hit the delete key on your keyboard. Selections/Select None. 9. Hide (X out) the white background layer. Activate one of the layers of your tag and go to Layers/Merge/Merge Visible. Resize the merged layer by 90%. Remove the X from the white background layer. With the white background layer being the active layer, go to Layers/New Raster Layer. Selections/Select All. Restore the Paper4 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste Into Selection. Selections/Select None. Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image. Select the gemsmask-118 from the drop box under the Source window. Source luminance is checked. Layers/Merge/Merge Group. Lower the opacity of the mask layer to 40.
10. Add any copyright info to your tag that is needed. Add your name or watermark to your tag. I used the font Blair Caps for my name. Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). Crop away any excess white space that may be around your tag. Resize the tag if needed and save in desired format.
