This tutorial was created on May 29, 2010 and is the property of It's Me Again Tuts by Bonnie.  Please do not remove my tutorials from my site to add to another site unless you have permission from me to do so.  This tutorial was created using Psp version 8, but I see no reason why it cannot be created using other versions of Psp.  This tutorial assumes that you have a working knowledge of Psp.

Okay, let's get started on our tag!

1.  Open your supplies in Psp and minimize all but the Paper07 to your Psp workspace.  Shift+D to make a duplicate of the Paper07; close out the original paper so that you will have it for future use.  We will be working with the duplicated paper.  Layers/Promote Background to Layer.  Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image.  Select the UFMask47 from the drop box under the Source window.  Source luminance is checked.  Layers/Merge/Merge Group.  Image/Resize.  Resize the frame mask by 90%.  Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used.

2.  Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow using the settings shown below.

Vertical 2; Horizontal 0; Opacity 58; Blur 5; Color Black

3.  Layers/New Raster Layer.  Flood fill the raster layer with the color white (#FFFFFF).  Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom.  Restore the Paper05.  Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image.  Select the EVG_GrungeMask5 from the drop box under the Source window.  Source luminance is checked.  Layers/Merge/Merge Group.  Lower the opacity of this mask layer to 60.

4.  Restore the StarCharmNecklace - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Image/Resize.  Resize the necklace by 65%.  Position the necklace as shown in the screen shot below.  Activate the Selection Tool (rectangle, feather 0) and draw a selection around the part of the chain that is in the frame (see screen shot).  Hit the delete key on your keyboard.  Selections/Select None.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the necklace using the same settings as used in Step 2. 

5.  Restore the Bow03 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the bow by 50% one (1) time and by 75% (1) time.  Position the bow on the top right corner of the frame over the necklace chain (see header tag).  Apply a drop shadow effect to the bow using the same settings as used in Step 2.    Restore the CurledRibbon05 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the ribbon by 75%.  Position the ribbon on the left top corner of the frame (see header tag).  Apply a drop shadow effect to the ribbon using the same settings used in Step 2.

6.  Restore the FeatheredHeart02 - Edit/Copy.  Back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the heart by 50%.  Image/Rotate/Free Rotate.  Rotate the heart by 20 degrees to the left.  Position the heart on the top left corner of the frame over the ribbons.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the heart using the same settings used in Step 2.    Restore the Guitar01 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the guitar by 50%.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the guitar using the same setting used in Step 2.  Position the guitar at the bottom left corner of the frame (see header tag).

7.  Restore the tube that you will be using for your tag - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the tube using the same settings as used in Step 2 EXCEPT change the blur to 10.  Position your tube on the tag as shown in header tag.  Restore the Eyelet01 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the eyelet by 75%.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the eyelet using the same settings as used in Step 2.  Position the eyelet on the bottom of the curled ribbon (see header tag).  Layers/Duplicate.  Resize the duplicated eyelet by 85%.  Position on the swirly at the right side the the tag (see header tag).  Layers/Duplicate.  Position on the swirly at the  top left corner of the frame (see header tag).

8.  Activate the green grunge mask layer of your tag.  Layers/New Raster Layer.  Apply some brush effects to the background of your tag as desired; or you can use the brush effects that I supplied in the supplies zip.  Use the header tag as a guideline or position the tubes as desired on your tag.  Restore the HeartSpills01 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Position the hearts inside the frame on the left side.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the hearts using the same settings as used in Step 2.  Layers/Duplicate.  Image/Mirror.  Position the duplicated hearts on the inside of the frame on the right side as shown in header tag.

9.  Restore the RockStarText - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Position the text around the lower left corner of your frame (see header tag).  Add your name or watermark to your tag.  I used the font Hip Priest for my name.  Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten).  Crop away any excess white space that is around your tag.  Resize your tag if needed, and save in desired format.
