Skull Candies Scrap Kit and Mask by Vaybs; Tube by Rann Autechaud

This tutorial was created on June 6, 2010 and is the property of It's Me Again Tuts by Bonnie.  Please do not remove my tutorials from my site to add to another site unless you have permission from me to do so.  This tutorial was created using Psp vs 8, but I see no reason why it cannot be created using other versions of Psp. 

The beautiful tube used in this tutorial is by the wonderful artist İRann Autechaud.  Please do not use the same tube unless you have permission from the artist or are a member of a group, such as Shewolf's Domain2, that has permission to use her art.  You can find the link to Shewolf's Domain2 here.

Okay, let's get started on our tag!

1.  Open your supplies in Psp and minimize to your Psp workspace for now.  File/New Image.  Create a new image 700w x 750h white raster background.  Restore the Element65 - Edit/Copy.  Back to the new image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Restore the Element15 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Image/Resize.  Resize the element15 by 90%.  Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used.  Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow using the settings shown below. 

Vertical 2; Horizontal 1; Opacity 68; Blur 5; Color Black

2.  Restore the Element11 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.   Apply a drop shadow effect to the element11 using the same settings as used in Step 1.  Restore the Element32 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the element by 50%.  Position the element32 on the right side of the inside of the frame as shown in the screen shot below.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the element using the same settings as used in Step 1.

3.  Activate the white background layer of your tag image.  Restore the Paper4 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image.  Select the DBV Mask107 from the drop box under the Source window.  Source luminance is checked; Invert Mask Data is NOT checked.  Layers/Merge/Merge Group.  Resize the mask layer by 85%.  Lower the opacity of the mask layer to 28.

4.  Restore the tube that you will be using on your tag - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Apply a drop shadow effect to your tube using the same settings as used in Step 1 EXCEPT change the blur to 10.  Position the tube as desired or as shown in header tag.  Restore the Element24 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the element24 by 50%.  Image/Rotate/Free Rotate.  Rotate the element by 20 degrees to the left.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the element using the same settings as used in Step 1.  Position the element on the right side of the frame (see header tag). 

5.  Restore the Element43 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the element by 50%.  Position the element on the right side of the frame (see header tag).  Apply a drop shadow effect to the element using the same settings as used in Step 1.  Restore the Element75 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the element75 by 50% one (1) time and by 75% one (1) time.  Position the element over the top of the element43.  Apply a drop shadow to the element75 using the same settings as used in Step 1.

6.  Restore the Element68 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the element by 50% one (1) time and by 75% one (1) time.  Position the element68 on the left side of the frame (see header tag).  Apply a drop shadow effect to the element using the same settings as used in Step 1.  Restore the Element48 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the element48 by 50%.  Position the element at the bottom of the tag on the left side of the frame (see header tag).  Apply a drop shadow effect to the element using the same settings as used in Step 1.  Activate the Text tool (vector, anti-alias checked) and select the Hanford Script font, Size 26 using the Paper1 for the text fill.  Type the following words "Sending my love to you~".  Rotate the text by 13 degrees to the left.  Position the text under the element48 (see header tag).

7.  Restore the Element6 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the element by 50% one (1) time and by 75% one (1) time.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the element using the same settings as used in Step 1.  Position the element on the left side of your tag (see header tag).  Activate the mask layer of your tag and apply some brush effects to your tag. 

8.  Add your name to your tag.  I used the font Lombardic Narrow for my name, using the Paper1 for my text fill and the color #000000 for the text stroke.  Add your copyright info to your tag.  Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten).  Crop away any excess white space that is around your tag.  Resize your tag if needed, and save in desired format.
