Tube by ŠJDD Designs; Scrap Kit by Sinfully Creative Scraps

This tutorial was created on May 22, 2011 and is the property of It's Me Again Tuts by Bonnie.  Please do not remove any of my tutorials from my site to add to another site unless you have permission from me to do so.  This tutorial was created using Psp vs 9, but I see no reason why it cannot be created using other versions of Psp.  This tutorial assumes that you have a working knowledge of Psp.

Okay, let's start on our tag!

1.  Open your supplies in Psp and minimize all but the Frame3_1 to your Psp workspace for now.  Shift+D to make a duplicate of the frame.  Close out the original frame as we will be working with the duplicated frame.  Image/Rotate/Rotate Clockwise 90.  Image/Canvas Size.  Change the width of the canvas to 700w and the height to 800h.  Image/Resize.  Resize the frame by 90%; resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used.

2.  Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat.  Restore the Paper16 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Selections/Invert.  Hit the delete key on  your keyboard.  Selections/Select None.  Change the blend mode of the paper layer to Multiply and lower the opacity of the paper to 62.  Layers/Merge/Merge Visible.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the frame using the settings shown below.

Vertical 2; Horizontal 0; Opacity 55; Blur 6; Color Black

3.  Restore the Scatter1 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Image/Rotate/Free Rotate.  Rotate the scatter by 90 degrees to the right.  Position the scatter on the left side of the frame (see header tag).  Draw a selection (rectangle, feather 0) around the parts of the scatter that extends over the left sides of the frame.  Hit the delete key on your keyboard.  Selections/Select None. Layers/Duplicate.  Image/Mirror.  Restore the Strawberry Vine2 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the vine by 75% one time and by 95% one time.  Position the vine on the bottom part of the frame (see header tag).  Apply a drop shadow effect to the vine.  Layers/Duplicate.  Image/Flip.

4.  Restore the Umbrella2 = Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As A New Layer.  Resize the umbrella by 50%.  Rotate the umbrella by 20 degrees to the left.  Position the umbrella on the top left corner of the frame.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the umbrella.  Restore the LadyBug - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the lady bug by 50% two times and by 65% one time.  Position the lady bug on the right side of the frame (see header tag).  Rotate the lady bug by 20 degrees to the left.  Apply  a drop shadow effect to the lady bug.  Duplicate the lady bug layer; Image/Mirror.  With the Mover tool, position the duplicated lady bug on the right side of the frame above the original lady bug (see header tag).  Duplicate the original lady bug layer once again and position this lady bug above the second lady bug.

5.  Restore the TeaCup2 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the tea cup by 50% one time and by 65% one time.  Position the tea cup at the bottom right corner of the frame.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the tea cup.  Restore the Vase - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the vase by 50%.  Position the vase behind the tea cup as shown in the header tag.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the vase.

6.  Restore the Bucket2 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the bucket by 50% one time and by 75% one time.  Position the bucket on the bottom left corner of the frame.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the bucket.  Restore the Shovel- Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Image/Mirror.  Resize the shovel by 65%.  Position the shovel behind the bucket on the left side of the frame and position as shown in header tag.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the shovel.

7.  Restore the FlowerScatter - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Rotate the flower scatter by 30 degrees to the right.  Position the flower scatter inside the frame.  Drag this layer below the frame layer.  Erase any parts of the flower scatter that extend outside the frame.  Lower the opacity of the flower scatters to 40 percent.  Layers/New Raster Layer.  Flood fill this layer with the color white (#FFFFFF).  Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom.

8.  Restore the tube that you will be using for your tag - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize your tube if needed.  Apply a drop shadow effect to your tube; position as shown in header tag.  Restore the Strawberries - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the strawberries by 50% one time and by 75% one time.  Position the strawberries at the bottom center part of the frame (see header tag).  Apply a drop shadow effect to the strawberries.

9.  Restore the Butterfly2 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the butterfly by 50% two times and by 65% one time.  Position the butterfly inside the frame towards the top of the frame (see header tag).  Apply a drop shadow effect to the butterfly.  Layers/Duplicate.  Image/Mirror.  Position the duplicated butterfly towards the bottom part of the frame ( see header tag).

10.  X out (hide) the white layer background.  Activate one of your other layers and go to Layers/Merge Visible.  Resize the merged layer by 90%.  Move the merged tag layer toward the top of the canvas so that you will have room for your text.  Remove the X from the hidden layer.  Add your name or text to your tag.  I used the font Hayseed and used part of the tube's dress as the pattern for my text.  For the text stroke, I chose a green color from the bucket tube.  Add the necessary copyright to your tag.  Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten).  Crop away any excess white space that may be around your tag.  Resize your tag if needed and save in desired format.
