Sweet Spring Kit by Teresa; Tube by İRosalys

This tutorial was created on March 11, 2011 and is the property of It's Me Again Tuts by Bonnie.  This tutorial was created using Psp vs. 9, but I see no reason why it cannot be created using other versions of Psp.  This tutorial assumes that you have a working knowledge of Psp.

A big thank you to Rosalys for allowing our group, DragonsLair Tubes, to use her beautiful art.

Okay, let's get started on our tag!

1.  Open your supplies in Psp and minimize all but the SS(21) to your Psp workspace for now.  Shift+D to make a duplicate of the purple frame.  Close out the original frame as you will be working with the duplicated frame.  Image/Canvas Size.  Change the width and the height of the canvas to 750w x 750h.

2.  Layers/New Raster Layer.  Flood fill the new layer with the color #FFFFFF.  Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom.  Activate the frame layer and apply a drop shadow effect to the frame using the settings shown below.

Vertical 2; Horizontal 1; Opacity 50; Blur 5; Color Black

3.  Restore the tube that you will be using for your tag - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize your tube if needed.  Position your tube inside the frame (see header tag).  Apply a drop shadow effect to the tube changing the blur to 8.  Restore the SS(82) - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Image/Resize.  Resize the element by 55% one time and by 90% one time.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the element.  Rotate the element by 20 degrees to the left.  Position the element on the left side of the frame as shown in header tag.  Restore the SS (43) - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Resize the element by 55% one time and by 90% one time.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the element.  Position the element on top of the purple candy stick as shown in the header tag.

5.  Hide (X out) the white background layer of your tag and merge visible (Layers/Merge/Merge Visible) all other layers of your tag.  Move your tag down towards the bottom of your canvas so that you will have room at the top of your canvas for the rainbow.  Restore the SS(31) - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer.  Position the rainbow at the top of your canvas above the tag.  Lower the opacity of the rainbow to 74.  Remove the X from the white background layer.
