This tutorial was created using Psp vs 9, but I see no reason why it cannot be created using other versions of Psp. This tutorial assumes that you have a working knowledge of Psp.

Okay, let's get started on our tag! !. Open your supplies in Psp and minimize all but the MiMi Concept Template 6 to your Psp workspace. Shift+D to make a duplicate of the template; close out the original. Resize the template by 50% two times and by 85% one time. Resize all layers IS checked; bicubic resize type. Activate the Calque Layer1 of the template. Flood fill this layer with the color #FFFFFF (white). Activate the Calque2 layer of the template. Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Restore the Paper7 - Edit/Copy; back to the template image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the Paper7 by75%; resize all layer is NOT checked. Position the paper over the selection. Selections/Invert. Hit the delete key on your key board. Selections/Select None. Apply a drop shadow effect to the Paper7 using the settings shown below. Vertical 0; Horizontal 0; Opacity 55; Blur 6; Color Black
2. Activate the Calque5 layer of the template. Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Flood fill this layer with the color #97985F. Effects/Filter Effects/Fantastic Machines/Paint Engine using the settings shown below. Selections/Select None. Apply a drop shadow effect to the layer.
3. Activate the Calque6 layer of the template. Selections/Select All; Selections/Float. Selections/Defloat. Flood fill this layer with the color #E2E0AF. Apply the same Paint Engine setting as used in Step 2 to this layer. Selections/Select None. Apply a drop shadow effect to the layer. Activate the Calque3 layer of the template. Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Flood fill this layer with the color #D0CD7C. Effects/Texture Effects/Blinds using the settings shown below. Selections/Select None. Apply a drop shadow effect to the layer. Width 3; Opacity 70; Color 96985B; Light from left/top
4. Activate the Calque4 layer of the template. Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Restore the Paper7 - Edit/Copy; back to the template image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Position the far right side of the paper over the selection. Sections/Invert. Hit the delete key on your keyboard. Apply a drop shadow effect to the paper. 5. Restore the E17 - Edit/Copy; back to the template image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the element by 75% two times. Position the element on top of the long strip at the left side of the template (see header tag). Apply a drop shadow effect to the element. Restore the E8 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the element by 50% four times and 75% one time. Apply a drop shadow effect to the element. Position the element on the top right corner of the paper. (see header tag). 6. Restore the tube that you will be using for your tag - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize your tube if necessary. Position your tube as shown in header tag. Apply a drop shadow effect to the tube changing the blur to 9. Restore the E43 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the element by 50% two times and 65% one time. Position the element on the middle light colored paper on the top right corner. Apply a drop shadow effect to the element. 7. Restore the E24 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the element by 50% two times. Position the grass at the bottom of the tag on the left side. Layers/Duplicate. Image/Mirror. Activate the Selection tool (rectangle, feather 0) and draw a selection around the middle part of the grass where the two grass layers overlap. Hit the delete key on your keyboard. Selections/Select None. Layers/Merge/Merge Down. Apply a drop shadow effect to the grass. 8. Apply some text and brush effects to the middle light colored layer. I wrote "Spring shows what God can do with a drab and dirty world" by Virgil A. Kraft. Restore the E1 - Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste As New Layer. Resize the butterfly by 50% five times. Rotate the butterfly by 25 degrees to the right. Position the butterfly as shown in header tag. Apply a drop shadow effect to the butterfly. Layers/Duplicate. Image/Mirror. Position the duplicated butterfly towards the bottom of the tag as shown in the header tag. 9. Activate the white background layer; Layers/New Raster Layer. Flood fill this layer with the color #94945C. Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image. Select the MyNewMaskPlay-TBM from the drop box under the Source window. Source luminance is checked. Layers/Merge/Merge Down. Add your name to your tag and apply any needed copyright info. I used the font Tuna and Hot Dogs on Rye.
10. Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). Crop away any excess white space that may be around your tag. Resize your tag if needed, and save in desired format.
